See Spot Read is a group of volunteers who create opportunities in Wake County for kids to read to certified therapy dogs to improve literacy skills. Their mission is to provide a safe, fun and educational experience that brings dogs and kids together to enhance reading skills.
See Spot Read is a loosely affiliated group of volunteers who create opportunities in Wake County for kids to read to dogs. We present a coordinated and consistent program that promotes the benefits of children reading to dogs to enhance literacy skills.
See Spot Read will be at ACES 13 times throughout this school year. Sessions will occur on Thursdays from 10am to 11am and will be for our 2nd Grade Students.
We are looking for parent volunteers to chaperone students to and from the sessions. 2 volunteers are needed for each date. This is a great way to help out in the ACES community!
