Hospitality Committee
The VP of Hospitality presides over the Hospitality Committee.
The Hospitality Committee will host multiple appreciation and support type events throughout the school year. Parents can volunteer to help with individual events or be on the committee itself and help coordinate more then one event. Welcome Back Teacher Breakfast & Survival Kits, Tissues and Tears, Teacher Appreciation Luncheons & Dessert Bars,and Donuts for Dads, Muffins for Moms and Love the Bus Week are some examples of events the PTA is planning for this year. We are looking for parents to coordinate volunteers and details for these events, as well as make donations.
Responsibilities include: Develop themes and menus for each event; send flyers to teachers and staff as necessary to inform of event; arrange for volunteers to make food for various activities or to arrange with food vendors when items are catered; arrange for volunteers for serving/host, set-up and clean-up as needed; submit articles to Newsletter Editor in announcement of events and thanks for volunteer help.
