Spirit Wear Coordinator
Responsibilities include: Coordinates with vendor which items will be sold; obtains Certificate of Resale for vendor from Treasurer; develops and distributes flyer and order form; displays items prominently prior to sale; organizes submitted orders; places order with vendor; distributes individual orders after production; coordinates deposits with Treasurer; organizes parent volunteers to assist with the distribution process. Keeps appropriate Vice President informed of activities on an on-going basis.
Book Fair Coordinator
The Book Fair is a one-week event, usually held in October, where students and parents are given the opportunity to shop for books. Responsibilities include: collaborates with Media Center Specialist in arranging dates and set-up of fair with book fair vendor; arranges for volunteers for the duration of the fair to assist students with preview and purchases, serve as cashiers, work Fall Frenzy night, and for set-up and pack up of books; develops and distributes flyers to teachers, staff and parents; publicizes event; creates wish list forms for students and teachers; arranges with Treasurer for cash box change and for daily deposits of revenues on purchase days; keeps the 1st Vice President informed of activities on an on-going basis.
Recruiting families to join the ACE PTA is crucial to meeting our goals and objectives. The majority of the activity takes place in the week before school begins and the first few weeks of the school year. Responsibilities include: picking up membership cards and envelopes from NC PTA; choosing a theme for the membership drive; plan and distribute teacher and staff invitations; develop and distribute flyers to parents to recruit families to join PTA; set up membership table at Meet Your Teacher Day (week before school), and Open House (September); assist in the recruitment of volunteers for various PTA committees; track all members who join, submitting Membership List (and updates as necessary) to Recording Secretary and dues to the Treasurer; develop a themed bulletin board in the lobby to track participation; coordinates with Team Parent Representative to arrange incentives for those classrooms meeting membership goals; return unused cards to NC PTA (March). Keep Secretary (who is in charge of membership) informed of activities on an on-going basis.
The reflections coordinator is responsible for requesting participation in the Wake County Reflections Program each year. The coordinator will distribute Reflections theme, application and material prior to the Wake County program deadlines. The coordinator will reserve a space for Reflection project to be displayed, he/she will coordinate judging of the projects and ensure that projects are delivered to Wake County in time for final judging. The coordinator will also host, with help from the PTA, a social event for those students that participate in the Reflections program.

Cultural Arts Coordinator
The cultural arts coordinator will ensure that programs come to ACES each year. It is recommended that at least 3 cultural arts programs come to ACES each year and are funded by the PTA. The coordinator will work with United Arts Council to book, pay and identify timing for each event.
Box Tops Coordinator
The box top coordinator is responsible for encouraging students and families to collect box tops for the school, collecting all box tops from teachers and submitting them for financial reimbursement. The coordinator may choose to run collection campaigns and award winners.
The copy coordinator will come to the school at least once per week to help with copying matreials for teachers, staff and the PTA.
Restaurant Night Coordinator
The restaurant night coordinator will ensure tht ACES has at least 2 spirit night to benefit ACES during each quarter. This position resides on the Fundraising Committee and may consist of one or more coordinators.
Special Events Coordinator
The special events coordinator will work with the PTA and teachers to coordinate events like the Science Fair, Art Night, Math Night, Sweet Goodbyes and other programs that benefit the ACES community.
